I googled this Jim Dodge guy. Is your Jim Dodge the same Jim Dodge who does humor writing and is admired by Thomas Pynchon? He's kind of a heavy hitter. Awesome.

Anyway, I'm no help at Mad Libs. I can't remember what an adverb is with other people in the room.
