Personally, I think "Northwest Airlines" is a fine name for an aerial transportation corporation. There was no need to shorten it to "nwa." When I see this:

Makes you wonder if it was just the bosses daughter playing a practicle joke on dad: "NWA would look really dope...I mean GREAT, on the side of the planes Dad".
I fly NWA 150k miles a year. Everytime a get on a flight, log on to the web site (nwa.com), or call for help I think the same thing. And it makes me smile!
I wonder if the in-flight movie is "Boyz N Tha Hood".
It's right up there with the legal firm Morrison & Foerster... their moniker is MOFO.
Well, at least they won't be forgotten.
