this Saturday at New York Comedy Club
This Saturday, I'll be appearing in an all-women comedy showcase hosted by April Brucker and starring Clea Wilson, Amy Beckerman, Michelle Youngblood, Lexi Cullen Baker, Nethia Heyward, Christina Galston, Nicky Sunshine, and Joanne Filan. I'll be finishing off the show.

$15/two-drink minimum
I shall not fail to point out that the all-women comedy show is taking place on a stage decorated with a mural of Andrew Dice Clay. Precious!

Its funny you mention the Dice man behind us. I was thinking about the irony of that myself today. And btw, my buddy and I were discussing Dice today as well. What can I say, "Rock a bye baby, on the tree top, your mama's a whore and I aint your pop."

M.C.: How about another hand for Eddie Everett, ladies and gentlemen? Funny guy. (pause) Our next comic is a real side- as well as rail-splitter. Please, welcome to our stage the President of the United States, "Honest Abe" Lincoln!
Abraham Lincoln jumps up onto the stage and immediately begins adjusting the mic to accommodate his 6'5" height. (Unless he doesn't, because microphones haven't been invented yet; in which case, never mind.)
LINCOLN: Thank you. Thank you very much. (pause) Well, it's nice to be here in Gettysburg again; engaged in a great civil war testing whether our nation can long endure. I just. . .oh, wait; the airplane hasn't been invented yet. (pause) Um. . . (pause) So, what can I tell you, my fellow Americans? Hey, have you ever held it to be a self-evident truth that all men are created equal? (laughing) Thank you. (pause) But seriously, good folk, last night as I was preparing to come here and going over my set, I was remarking to Bill Seward that I cannot dedicate--cannot consecrate--cannot hallow, if you will, this ground. Nay, the brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above my poor power to add or detract. But on a happier note, I just saved 15% on my brougham insurance by switching to Geico. . .
