Nearly all vegetables are better when you roast them! Apparently brussels sprouts, essentially being tiny cabbages, release noxious gas when boiled, but become delicious when roasted. We've also recently roasted yellow carrots from the farmer's market, which was kind of awesome.

I don't know which I found more enertaining, your blog post or Jen's Mom's comment! I definitely want to try this recipe, it looks so enticing, but will you totally freak out if I tell you that I'm going to use So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk Beverage instead of Almond Breeze? I think it would be amazing!

Your recipe was delightfully entertaining. I loved all the pictures.
I must say, I've never seen a recipe that included the words "hippie-ass thing", "fascist", "potpourri". "freak" and "magician". Sounds like a game show challenge.... In three minutes write a recipe that includes these five words or terms...

1) Thank you for the recipe, you're the best. I will attempt to impress my carnivorous boyfriend with it sometime in the near future.

2) I believe the herb pack you got had rosemary, thyme and sage in it. The only reason I can postulate this is that I have my own herb garden in which I grow all three, simply because I'm too cheap to buy fresh herb packs from the grocery store each week.

3) You look like Bree from "Desperate Housewives" in that second to last photo. All you need is an apron and a set of pearls and you're totally there. I'm half expecting you to show up on my doorstep with a basket of homemade welcome muffins (with the caveat that I must return the basket when I'm done) at any moment.
